Organic Dog Food
Feeding Instructions
The meat portion of the diet is to be provided by the customer and can usually be purchased at your local health food store or by following the national food directory links on the FAQ page. Each box of 48 muffins requires 8 pounds of organic/ grass fed ground beef, turkey, or other ground meat of your choice.
Once received, promptly transfer muffins to your freezer and some to your refrigerator for immediate use. Place treats and Pro-biotic Vegetables in your refrigerator.
Before feeding, thaw the food in the refrigerator as needed and serve at room temperature.
Feed your dog daily a mixture of thawed muffin and ground beef or turkey at a ratio of 1/3 cup meat per muffin (one pound of meat per 6-pack of muffins). Meat should preferably be organic, ground and raw. Light cooking is fine, if required by your dog or recommended by your veterinarian. Break up muffin, mix well with meat, two teaspoons of Pro-biotic Vegetables per muffin and serve.
Serve one average size treat (1”) per muffin anytime during the day.

One third cup meat per muffin is the important general feeding guideline!
- Temperament, age, environment, and exercise all affect a dog’s dietary needs, and one should feed accordingly. Older, less active dogs will require slightly less meat than young or active dogs.
- Shifting diets will likely cause a reaction in your dog’s system. This is normal and to be expected. When beginning the new diet, accustom your dog to his or her new food over the course of two weeks by gradually replacing current food with the muffin/meat mixture. If your dog develops a rash, it should resolve in 2 -3 days.
- Handling raw meat requires particular care, including thoroughly cleaning any utensils and surfaces exposed. If you are on chemotherapy or steroid medication, please consult your doctor about any potential health concerns.
- If a quick thaw is required, simply place ingredients in a Ziploc bag and submerge in a bowl of hot water. To refresh and enhance palatability, one may also warm muffins in the oven or toaster-oven. Please do not microwave your dog’s food.
